Doesn't that sound an awful lot like Omar Mateen's relationship with Islam? Even if you say there is no direct relationship between the Orlando shooter and ISIS (for whom he pledged allegiance in his 911 call during the shooting), Mateen was clearly at home with Islam.
Mateen's decision to target a gay night club was right at home with his homophobia, which was in turn encouraged by his enabling relationship with Islam, which bans homosexual intercourse under Sharia Law. In Iran and Saudi Arabia, homosexuality will get you the death penalty.
Note to Leftists: Your Muslim friends don't approve of your gay friends, and might even kill the homosexuals given the opportunity. I will leave it to you to rationalize this, although I suspect your rationalization might look something like this:
(hat tip to Metal Gear Wiki for the pic)
So while we listen to lots of Muslims coming out and denouncing terrorism as hateful and outside of their religion, it is time to ask them about the hate that remains inside their religion? Today, when they disavow terrorists, let's ask them how they feel about homosexuals? I doubt the word "tolerance" (or any variation of it) will be used by most Muslims.
