Here comes Matthew! Today's news for October 6th

As the tweet above says, the above is a picture of Matthew before it hit Haiti. God has a keen sense of irony.

Here is the updated tropical force winds probability map:

As I said yesterday, I will try to blog tomorrow, but no promises. Fortunately, the worst isn't expected to hit my area until Friday night, so I should be good to blog. Stay tuned...

Guccifer 2.0 just Tweeted out:
“It looks like big banks and corporations agreed to donate to the Democrats a certain percentage of the allocated TARP funds.”

Coincidence? I think not.

This is one of those "hiding in plain sight" conspiracies, because the mainstream Media won't cover it. And even if this is picking on the Democrats, don't be surprised if the Republicans aren't doing the same thing. Taking campaign donations for political favors isn't illegal, because both the R's and D's have made sure it is quite legal. This is how they make trash bags full of money.

Speaking of trash...

Fox News:
A video of a Tennessee couple laying on the sidewalk unconscious from a suspected heroin overdose went viral and further showed a harrowing epidemic plaguing Americans.

According to WREG-TV, police said two witnesses claim two people “snorted some heroin” in a nearby Walgreens bathroom and began to have strange reactions on the sidewalk. Someone driving by saw them laying on the sidewalk at around 3:30 p.m. Monday and called 911

Memphis Fire was able to revive the husband and wife and were both taken to the hospital in noncritical condition, police said...

It is yet another display of why you should stay away from drugs. This stuff will ruin your life, and these two people are prime examples of it.

However, another aspect to notice here is how undangerous these people are. Admittedly, people collapsed on a sidewalk is not a pleasant sight, but they are no danger to anyone around them. Based on the comments of the guy filming the video, one can argue they are even a source of morbid amusement.

This should be taken as a reminder that drug addicts need medical help. They aren't hurting anyone but themselves. Putting them in jail is pointless, and will only add to their problems.
