WAR! (continued): Today's news for March 10th

BBC News:
The US has sent 400 additional troops to Syria to support an allied local force aiming to capture the so-called Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa.

They include Marines, who arrived in the past few days. US special forces are already in Syria.

Meanwhile, US-led coalition air strikes killed 20 civilians - including children - near the city, reports say.
You realize those 20 civilian deaths are just more fodder for radical Islamist recruiting? Anything gained by sending troops there has already been lost before they arrived.

Regardless, this just means the continuation of our already failed war on Islam.

In other news...

CNN:
Two protesters died during demonstrations in the South Korean capital Friday, after the country's president was removed from office over alleged corruption.

A statement from acting President Hwang Kyo-ahn also said that several people were injured during the protests in Seoul. It called the casualties regrettable and didn't provide further details on the deaths.
Even in South Korea, people are willing to protest in support of corrupt politicians. We have seen the same thing in America with Hillary Clinton's supporters.

In other news, old news comes back around...

The American Mirror:
An Obama has joined the birther movement.

Malik Obama, Barack Obama’s half-brother, tweeted image of what appears to be Barack’s birth certificate.

Except it’s not from Hawaii, but rather Kenya.
This is suspicious, and not because I think it is real. It has been over 9 years since Barack Obama first ran for president, and nobody found this before? After the whole birther controversy, nobody discovered this?

There are only two possible answers: Either somebody was hiding it, or else it is a forgery. But right now, it is just a curiosity.
