I am shutting it down early this week. Frankly, I find talking about the news more depressing today.
As a sendoff, I have been listening to some Vangelis this week. You probably remember Vangelis from the Chariots of Fire theme:
But that wasn't why I was listening to Vangelis. No, I was listening to the soundtrack from Blade Runner. I did not realize he was the one behind it, but it was absolutely masterful upon listening to it separately from the movie. Here is the Love Theme from Blade Runner:
If you get a chance, listen to the entire soundtrack. It is as lovely and haunting as Blade Runner was.
