According to CNN:
Ben Carson doesn't "see a political path forward" in the Republican presidential nomination process, and will not attend Thursday's GOP presidential debate in his hometown of Detroit, he said in a statement.
But Carson stopped short of saying he was officially leaving the race.He doesn't have to say it. We get it.
But I can tell you exactly why his campaign failed: I decided to vote for him. That is the final nail in the coffin for any candidate. Voters flee from an Ed endorsement like lemmings over the cliff, which is a good analogy since they seem to be voting more for Trump.
