Newt for VP?

We have a list of possible vice presidential picks for Donald Trump. Here is my ranking of them:

1. Newt Gingrich: While Newt suffers from "opening his mouth before he realizes the consequences of what he is about to say", so does Joe Biden. The difference between the two of them being Newt's ideas tend to be smarter (not always, but usually). Regardless, if Trump actually listens to Newt, this could be an excellent choice. If he ignores him, like Obama ignores Biden, then at least Newt is qualified to take over.

2. Marco Rubio: Rubio strikes me more as a "good lieutenant", a guy who can take orders well. He would be a Dan Quayle VP. His best quality is he might appeal to hispanic voters. He'd make a decent, albeit uninspiring, president.

3. Chris Christie: The only virtue Christie brings to the VP job is his attack dog nature. He would be awesome on the campaign trail and in a VP debate. Aside from that, he is almost as crooked as Hillary. If he became president, he does have the confidence to be somewhat presidential...in a Godfather sort of way.

4. Joni Ernst: Who?
