In an interview with NBC's Chuck Todd, Attorney General Loretta Lynch says that on Monday, the FBI will release edited transcripts of the 911 calls made by the Orlando nightclub shooter to the police during his rampage.
"What we're not going to do is further proclaim this man's pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda," Lynch said. "We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State]."
We already know what he did. Why are they hiding it?
If you ever do any research on Prohibition, one of the things that led to it being reversed was all the gang violence at the time, which was all over the front pages of newspapers. People back then realized that Prohibition led to more deaths than anything alcohol was doing to people.
Since then, both government and Media self-censorship has allowed the War on Drugs to go on too long. If we actually saw the dead bodies from the War on Drugs, both innocent and guilty people, this war would have ended log ago.
Now, there are 49 dead bodies because of what Omar Mateen did in Orlando, and the government wants to cover up his stated reason for it. While I don't believe terrorism was his primary motive like he stated, the government needs to allow the American people to see the link to Islam in this.
For the government to hide this connection only provides cover for the true Islamic terrorism in this story, and that is it's homophobia.
