Trump Today

All Trump, all day, every day...

Donald Trump's accomplishments in the Republican race for presidential nomination:

Trump has more wins than any other Republican or Democrat candidate in this year’s race with 36. He also has more primary wins with 33 and leads all candidates in percent of overall wins and in percent of primary wins.
...As a result Trump has more votes than any candidate in Republican history.
On top of this, Trump beat a field of 17 Republican candidates, which was the largest in history for any major party.

Breitbart: Donald Trump Beats Own Campaign Prediction, Reaching 1,536 Delegates

After the final five state Republican primaries on Tuesday night, Trump stands at 1,536 delegates.
In April, Trump’s campaign predicted it would reach 1,400 delegates ahead of the convention to meet the threshold delegate requirement of 1,237 in order to clinch the nomination on the first ballot.

Washington Times: Hispanic activists’ anti-Trump efforts fall flat as citizenship push sputters

There’s little question that Mr. Trump’s outsized rhetoric has angered Hispanic activists overall, and Mexican immigrants in particular. But applications for citizenship are up just 6.6 percent compared to the same period in 2012, according to the latest data from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and actual approvals are down slightly.
Combine that with...

Fox News Latino: Big data reports Latino support for Trump on the rise at 37%

No, that doesn't mean they are voting for Trump:

Based on big data analysis over the last 30 days as of June 1st, Trump reports 37 percent of Hispanic positive sentiment versus 41 percent for Clinton. Surprisingly, the candidates tie in negative sentiment across Hispanics at 38 percent, discounting the fact that Latinos default as Democrats or are completely turned off by Trump’s off-color comments. After all, over 50 percent of Latinos identify as political independents.
My takeaway is that Latinos will not be a big factor in the general election, which is a big negative for Clinton if this continues.

Fox News: Trump's says VP shortlist includes rival who has not yet endorsed him

This is one of those classic news stories that says absolutely nothing. Here is the only piece of news about Trump's vice presidential pick, and it is strictly rumor:

Former rivals rumored to be being considered include Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. In May, Trump said he was not considering Florida Sen. Marco Rubio for the job.
Much like a typical Trump speech, there isn't much substance here. Move along folks...
